In 1976, she received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles. In addition to numerous articles in academic journals in the United States and in Europe, she is the author of «The Salvator Mundi» of Leonardo da Vinci, a monograph on a painting recently attributed to Leonardo da Vinci.
